Last night we had our 1st 3 hour Smackdown backkkkkk! This was SO much better than I thought it would be, and we’ve got a lot to unpack.. so let’s get into it.
The Miz kicks off Smackdown:
This was pretty funny overall, AND we got Randal back! Are we seeing this feud right out of the gate? Or will this end up being a tag team in the future? Because please no.
Kabuki Warriors, Nia Jax and Lash Legend vs. RhIyo, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair:
This match overall was pretty dang good. I would love to see Nia and Lash as champs, but at the same time I would also love to see Rhea and Iyo. It’s a toss up. But.. only time will tell.
Kit Wilson vs. Matt Cardona:
Anyone else not sure about Kit’s new music? I don’t like it, but like it at the same time. And…. Matt Cardona?! Back in the WWE?? YES PLEASE AND THANK YOU! This is going to be REALLY good. And the fact that he is Matt and not Zack is THE best. I’m very curious as to what he will do next.
Sami Zayn and Trick Williams Promo:
I love Sami.. but I feel like we have heard this whole song and dance before with the “wanting the title” speech. Is this a full blown “I’m winning the Rumble” announcement without really announcing it? Trick Williams made his Smackdown debut… and it was amazing. I am VERY excited to see what he is doing next. Could we see him face off with Melo? Much sooner than later?
Carmelo Hayes vs. Johnny Gargano:
This match is AMAZING and I loved it more than I thought I would. Of course, Melo did retain. But if you’ll notice Ciampa was missing. Bodyslam made the announcement that he is leaving WWE soon and his contract won’t be renewed. This is very interesting and it makes me wonder what he will do next.
Drew McIntyre and Cody Rhodes Promo:
The whole situation was wild and insane. Sadly, I have this really bad feeling. Cody doesn’t have the upper hand, it’s been Drew lately. This makes me feel like Cody would take the win. Drew deserves the win overall, and leaving next week without it would be a trainwreck in my opinion. The three stages of hell include: standard match, falls count anywhere, and steel cage match. What are your thoughts?
Chelsea Green vs. Giulia:
I don’t have much to say about this match.. but it was stupid. Having Giulia win was very lack luster. But.. my only other thought is if you have her win.. make it good. Give her at least 2 good feuds, and have James turn on her for the title.
Damian Priest vs. Aleister Black:
This match was pretty intense and so very good. I loved the call back with Zelina and Rhea, it was a good touch. And having Damian win was good too. I enjoyed it overall. But now the question is, where do Priest and Black go from here?

We did see The Wyatt Sicks respond to Solo, and this time.. it was Bo Dallas in the rocking chair speaking. Next week we will see a 4 vs 4 for MFT and Wyatts. Here me out: It’s okay if the Wyatt Sicks lose… BUT only if Solo plays dirty. This would not only protect the titles, but up the nerves on what is next. Could that be the final straw for Bo/Howdy? If that is the case, we could see Howdy vs Solo at Saturday Night Main Event or even the Royal Rumble.

Monday Night Raw enters the Upside Down with a collab with Stranger Things and things… are for sure to be wild.
-Bron Breakker vs CM Punk (World Title)
-Lyra vs Liv Morgan
-Becky Lynch vs Maxxine (IC title)
-Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky vs. the Kabuki Warriors for the Women’s Tag Team Championship
I have a feeling this one is going to be a MUST watch!
