Last night was Smackdown, and we now have 2 weeks until the Elimination Chamber.. which is the final PLE before Wrestlemania. Things are heating up, and we have a lot to talk about! Let’s get into it!
-Kicking off: Tiffy TIMEEEEE
It’s so good to see Tiffy back on my screen.. however, does this really mean that we are getting Jade vs Tiffy at Mania? Or will there be another path for Jade? It’s very interesting to say the least.
-Rhiyo vs. Lash Legend and Nia Jax
I wanted to like this match overall, but I was a bit let down to be honest. While the match ended in a no contest.. this makes me believe that we are getting a huge match at Mania for the Women’s Tag Team Championships. I could for sure see a ladder match, which would be interesting to say the least.
-Carmelo Hayes, Ilja Dragunov, Matt Cardona, Apollo Crews and Shinsuke Nakamura vs. MFTs
This match was pretty good overall. While I did enjoy it, I wish it would have been very different. The MFTs did pick up the win.. but what happened with last week? What happened to the story there? At the end.. we did see The Wyatts appear and make themselves known. I know a lot of people are upset about their run right now, but I really do think it will pick back up closer to Wrestlemania. It wouldn’t make sense to finish the feud up anytime soon, due to the time frame.. so bread crumbing it until mid April will have to do. Honestly, I am just happy we actually see them on tv every week. AND… be sure to look out for their match on Main Event next week!
-Alexa Bliss vs. Giulia vs. Zelina Vega
LOVING Zelina’s entrance, even tho it’s the same as Black’s. ALSO.. did we really think that Alexa wasn’t going to win this? And with the interaction of Char and Alexa this episode, are we finally sending the end of this friendship? I feel something is coming sooner than later..
Rey Fenix vs. Trick Williams
LOVED this match! It was so good overall and can we please talk about how over Trick is on the main roster? Holy cow! AND… we did see Trick once again get the win. NOW.. can Rey and Penta finally get together and run through the tag division? Please and thank you!
Jade Cargill vs. Jordynne Grace
Nope. Didn’t care for this AT ALL.. I feel it could have been done so much better, and to be honest.. it was exhausting. We did see Liv/Dom and Raquel come out to cause some drama.. but that was about it. I still don’t see Liv picking Jade at this point. And of course.. Jade got the win.
Sami Zayn vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Jacob Fatu
The match itself was pretty good. And there was NO doubt in my mind that Cody wasn’t going to get this win. BUT.. I still think there will be a triple threat at some point for Mania. Now.. will it be the mens? Or women? ALSO.. we did see Drew come out to cause some messy situations… which ended up allowing Cody to win.
Overall: 7.2/10
