Monday Night Raw Recap

Last night was pretty rough overall, but could have been worse. I loved Monday Night Raw.. but between my headache and not sleeping right for the last two weeks.. I just wasn’t on my game. There wasn’t a video recap, BUT I had to make sure I was on my game for the blog. We’ve got a lot to talk about.. so let’s get into it.

Kicking off: The Usos and The Vision
I wasn’t a huge fan of this kick off.. as SOON as the The Usos came out.. so did The Vision. Is anyone just exhausted with them too? Without Seth.. it doesn’t seem very good to me. It’s over done and it’s the same thing each week. And of course… LA Knight got involved too. This led to a match, in which (was good) but The Vision got the win even tho Logan was attacked by masked man. Which leads the question… who is the masked man? We know it isn’t Bron.. and it isn’t Theory. So is it suppose to be Seth? Or are we dealing with someone else all together?

Elimination Chamber Qualifier: Bayley vs. Asuka vs. Nattie
I don’t know what I really expected in this.. but I was hoping that Bayley would be able to pick up the win. Seriously.. is she being punished for something? Nattie of course has it out with Maxxine and it wasn’t a surprise to see them two get into it. Asuka did win.. but this makes me wonder where they are going with it all together. I am excited to see her on a PLE as well.

CM Punk Promo/Finn and Judgement Day
I loved this. I thought it was really good.. and I loved seeing JD back as well! This promo that went back and forth, and it delivered. This makes you wonder what all will happen at the Elimination Chamber… and what will be the ending for Judgement Day going into Mania. I could 100% be seeing Finn and Dom going at it after a turn.

Penta vs. El Grande Americano
The match itself was pretty good, but at the same time.. I wish there was a little more. I know they are setting up for El Grande vs El Grande… At least they didn’t allow Penta to lose again. I don’t think I could handle another loss. And.. this was for the no 1 contender for the IC title.. so that’s a plus.

AJ Lee Promo/Becky Lynch
I loved it and I didn’t at the same time. I feel there could have been some more.. but at the same time, they have already established a good bit within this feud. We know we are getting them AT LEAST until Mania.. but what has to happen for this to get even MORE heated?

Elimination Chamber Qualifier: Je’Von Evans vs. Gunther vs. Dominik Mysterio
I loved this match.. and going into it.. I had an idea of who would be winning. And who actually won, BLEW my mind into a million pieces. We did see Dragon Lee come to get revenge, and this allowed Je’Von Evans to show off and show out. There was NO Judgement Day help this time.. and allowed Evans to pick up the win. THIS was HUGE… I can’t believe he will be in the Chamber this year! Totally deserved!

Overall: 8.4/10
