Interview: On the blog with Wrestling Fan/Content Creator Tatiana

Being able to interview wrestling fans, and wrestling content creators has been THE best time for me. Finding those that not only share their love for wrestling, but putting their own twist and style into it is really the best. Allow me to introduce you to Tatiana. Her unique style on wrestling content is refreshing, and overall some of the most genuine I have seen in a while. Let’s dive in.

Chels: Thank you so much for coming on the blog with me, I can’t wait to learn more about you and your content channels!

Chels: How long have you been watching wrestling, and what got you interested?

Tatiana: I was so young when I started watching. I have been watching professional wrestling since I was seven years old which makes 28 years. It was so popular from the mid to late 90s that you couldn’t escape it. Initially, I didn’t care for wrestling but one night I happened to look up at the TV and there he was… the Undertaker! He was making his way down to the ring and I was mesmerized by his beauty. From there I would watch Raw every week just to see him and slowly but surely I fell in love with pro wrestling. I still wrestling and I still love my Deadman.

Chels: In any promotion, who are your top wrestlers (man, woman, or tag team)? And why?

Tatiana: My top current wrestlers are Zack Sabre Jr and Hechicero, who are the absolute best wrestlers wrestling right now. Kenny Omega, Will Ospeary, Athena, Syuri, Mercedes Mone, MJF, Iyo Sky, Gunther, FTR, Mistico, Takeshita, and Kyle Fletcher in no particular order.

Chels: From looking on your Instagram, I’ve seen you’ve been to a lot of events. What has been your favorite?

Tatiana: My favorite was All In 2025 for sure. I did the VIP experience which made the experience so much more fun. I got to meet wrestlers and hang out with them and other like-minded fans before the event. Also, got to film myself coming down the ramp with the AEW World Championship which was so awesome! The entire event was spectacular! AEW has the best hospitality out of all the promotions I have gone to. When I go to their shows it feels like I am part of a family where the staff knows your name and you build a friendly relationship with them and it doesn’t feel like they’re just taking your money.

Chels: Favorite wrestler you’ve met?

Tatiana: The Undertaker! I’m being biased since he’s the love of my life. My favorite interaction with a wrestler I have met though was with Rocky Romero. Rocky kind of has the career I would love to have. He’s the middleman between AEW, NJPW, and CMLL as the VP. Last year, in Chicago I met him and spilled my heart out about my love of pro wrestling and about wanting to get into the business. I thought he would think I was a total mark but he was so sweet and gave me amazing advice that I am applying to my life right now. I really cherish that moment so much.

Chels: Within your YouTube, I’ve seen a good bit of different promotions. What has been your favorites, and what makes them stand out?

Tatiana: That is actually tough for me to answer. At times I feel frustrated but I love all the promotions I cover. I typically answer this question by saying I am not pro AEW, not pro WWE, not pro NJPW etc I am pro pro wrestling. I can enjoy any promotion. Although all these promotions I cover have great wrestling they have something different I can look forward to. Mystery Wrestling has the best comedy in wrestling. Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling has been recently revived & showcases the best Canadian wrestlers. NJPW at times I feel the most invested in and AEW I believe it’s truly where the best wrestle.

Chels: We’ve previously (and briefly) spoke about you not watching WWE within the last year. Was there a point that made you stop watching?

Tatiana: On my channel I cover The Dark Side of the Ring, reviewing the show led me to take a deeper dive into WWE as a company and I started to feel uncomfortable about the things that happened in the past and the life long affects on wrestlers and their lives. Although people like Vince and others who allegedly participated in horrible acts no longer work at the company, some of these situations currently have active court proceedings. Cases such as the Ring Boy Scandal and Janel Grant allegations are active in 2026 which I have been following closely. Also, the removal of DEI means people of all walks of life won’t be represented for being women, people of color, LGBTQIA+ etc. Diversity and inclusion are so important to me and for fans who look for inspiration in wrestlers that we can relate to. While I choose not to support WWE I think it’s okay for others who want to support to continue to support their wrestlers because I love pro wrestling and want the sport to succeed.

Chels: Since it’s the start of the year, is there anything or certain event you are excited for?

Tatiana: Oh, yes! NJPW is bringing the G1 Climax 36 to Chicago this summer!!! The last time this tournament was in the US was back in 2019. I am impatiently waiting for the tickets to go on sale.

Chels: What made you get into wrestling content creation?

Tatiana: Depression. I lost my mom in August 2020 and mentally I was in a bad place. I realized the only time I felt somewhat better was watching wrestling. Dark Side of the Ring season 3 aired and it was so good I wanted to tell someone about it. No one I knew cared so I figured someone on YouTube would care. And they did. Even to this day, I do not consider myself a content creator. Talking about my favorite thing in the world, pro wrestling, has been 100% therapeutic for me. I have been able to cope with depression through sharing my passion and it brings me so much happiness.

Tatiana: I am proud of my channel and of having a pretty cool community of supporters. I do three live streams a week where I provide a safe space for people of color, women, LGBTQIA+, people with disabilities and anyone can enjoy wrestling whether it’s on the chat and/or on the panel. I know that can be hard to find in the IWC. If anyone is interested in joining us please send me a message on Instagram if interested in joining a stream. Thank you.
