Last night was ROUGH over here, I am still recovering from kidney stones.. and last night was just not my night. I was pretty determined to watch Raw, but at the same time was done with everything else. I knew I couldn’t do the LIVE tweeting, but wanted to do my recap videos too. That… didn’t happen either. I do feel rough still, but I would say I am at least 70% better. I’ll get there.
We are in full force on the road to Mania.. and now we have about two weeks until the Elimination Chamber in Chicago! So far, the line up is stacked.. and I can expect it to be a good one. We’ve got alot to talk about.. so let’s get into it!
Kicking Off: Becky Lynch
We finally have AJ Lee back.. and Becky is PISSED! I loved and hated this at the same time. Becky’s character is WILD.. and scarily annoying. At the same time.. I am very happy we are finally getting these two again. Now.. the question is, with the EC match on, what is there for Mania? I have a couple of ideas, but.. we will chat about that later.
World Tag Team Championship: The Usos vs. Alpha Academy
This match was amazing and so heart warming for me. I love The Usos, and I am also LOVING Alpha Academy. I would LOVE to see more of a serious version of them moving forward, and this match was a good start. People sleep on those two and I am tired of it. While The Usos did retain, this gave a MAJOR push for Alpha and I am very excited to see where it will go moving forward.
Liv Morgan/Dom Promo
WELL… it’s pretty obvious that Liv will be picking Stephanie. It just wouldn’t make sense for Liv to pick Jade at this point. This promo was interesting and raised the importance of it all. Now.. the question is, will Liv win at Mania?
SUPER early predictions:
-Raquel cost Liv
-Raquel is added to the match
-Dom cost Liv in a SHOCKING turn of events
-Roxanne AND Raquel are added to the match
Elimination Chamber Qualifier: Rhea Ripley vs. Lyra Valkyria vs. Ivy Nile
I hate to say it… but it’s not like we didn’t know who was going to win this match. Ivy would have been a major shock, and Lyra comes in as a possible. But… Rhea was for sure the goal for this one. However, the match was pretty good overall. So does this mean we are seeing Iyo in one of the next EC qualifiers?
Finn Balor/CM Punk Promo
I have some major questions about this whole situation with Dom. PLEASE don’t let this end up being a triple threat at Mania. OR.. will this be a EC match, and Dom get involved? Resulting in Dom and Finn? Kind of a stretch but it’s possible. Also, what the heck is Adam Pearce’s problem with Finn??
Maxxine Dupri vs. Nattie
Loved it, and the fact that no one technically lost. I want to see MORE.. falls count anywhere… no DQ…SOMETHING that they both can just go wild on. This feud is going to be amazing, and I feel it WILL be going to Mania. We also did see AJ Lee and Becky get involved, so could we see Nattie and Maxxine get involved during the EC match too?
Je’Von Evans and Original El Grande Americano vs. Rayo and Bravo
Not my favorite, but at the same time was a little fun. My question is.. what are we getting from this? And is it just WWE or will it go over to AAA as well? Could this be leading to a Mask vs Mask match at Mania? Or a major AAA event?? And also.. isn’t Je’Von Evans just amazing?? LOVING having him on the main roster!
Elimination Chamber Qualifier: Penta vs. LA Knight vs. Austin Theory
Going into this match, I had an idea of who would in this.. and it wasn’t who actually won. Because… woah! The match itself was pretty dang good overall. BUT.. we got another masked man, Logan and Bronson got involved and distracted… and LA Knight got the win. So.. if it isn’t Logan Paul, and it wasn’t Austin Theory… who exactly was the masked man? Was it suppose to be Seth? Or a complete swerve? SO interesting to say the least. And now that Bron is out for a while.. who knows what will happen next.
Overall: 7.9/10
