We are ONE week away from Elimination Chamber, and it will be the final PLE until Wrestlemania. I have a feeling this one will fully give the “UMPH” that is needed to start filling in the spaces for matches. I do believe after this.. there will be about 6 weeks until Mania itself.. so this means the matches should start being announced ASAP. We’ve got ALOT to talk about, so let’s get into it!
-Kicking off Smackdown: Cody Rhodes
This was okay for the most part, but makes me wonder what will be taking place within the EC next week as well. Jacob is very much involved, as well as Cody.. which makes me wonder how the EC will take place. Could we see an invasion from Jacob? Or what about Sami? Sami will come in later in the show during a backstage segment with Cody.
-Ilja Dragunov vs. Tama Tonga
I didn’t love this match, but didn’t hate it either. I didn’t like the fact that Ilja lost the match, but of course Dragunov didn’t go down without a hell of a fight. We did also see Wyatt Sicks come into play with a message for Solo. It seems Howdy is tired of the games.. and issued a challenge for Solo to come to the ring next week alone. Will he? We will also talk about this more at the end.
-Jade Promo
I’m about to be THAT person.. Jade is wonderful, she really is. But this run just isn’t it for me. There is no major “BAM” that allows me to like this. She has defended it ONCE and to be honest, Grace held it all together. There is no big story line, there is no urgency. Just that Jade comes out, says she’s “that bitch” and leaves. She is better than that.. And then there was this really weird ass moment with Charlotte and Jade that made me cringe. Like, what?
-Charlotte Flair vs. Kiana James vs. Nia Jax (EC Qualifying)
I went into this match, knowing who was going to win.. and I was WRONG.. Like, what a really good match.. but I did NOT expect Kiana to pick up the win. This took things to a whole new level. Char isn’t going to be in the chamber.. and Alexa wasn’t out there like Char was for her. VERY interesting. Could we just have had our big opening? I think so…
-Kit Wilson vs. Oba Femi
I love this, but I can get why it isn’t everyone’s favorite story right now. Was it funny? Oh yeah.. but Oba has been built up to be this force, and so far.. he has kind of been booked as a joke. Hopefully moving forward it will get better, and they can find someone worth a good story line.
-Tiffany Stratton vs. Alba Fyre
Another match that I thought was okay, but it wasn’t OUT THERE great. There really hasn’t been much of a story with this.. seemingly just a filler match. BUT.. I do love seeing Alba on my screen actually wrestling. So that is a major plus.
-Carmelo Hayes vs. Damian Priest vs. Trick Williams
This match was pretty damn good! I went into it thinking Damian, only due to the fact of his past with others in the chamber as well. BUT.. to my surprise it was Trick Williams. AND.. it was nice to see Trick and Carmelo in the ring together as well. I have a feeling the EC for the men is going to be WILD and unpredictable.
-Giulia vs. Rhea Ripley
First of all, why in the WORLD did they replace Iyo if she wasn’t injured? The match overall was good tho, I will say that. BUT.. it ended weird and I didn’t care for that at all. No one won.. BUT.. it does seem we are getting another match of Iyo/Rhea and Lash/Nia next week for the titles. Now the question is.. will it end in a pin? Or are we fully setting up for a ladder match?
-Randy Orton vs. Aleister Black
The match was good! I enjoyed it all for the most part.. my issue is the ending. Why are all the matches ending in some kind of interference lately? Drew and Cody were involved, and Aleister got his win (finally) over Randy. Will this affect the EC.. with Randy and Cody? Very weird it seems.. but I am excited to see where it all goes.
Overall: 7.9/10
What the hell is in the crate?
While I did think it was Jericho at first, the news of his AEW contract threw me for a loop. What if.. it was Danhausen? Long shot? Sure.. but it was be interesting. Some people have also said what if it was the draft announcement? or laptop GM coming back… all good answers, but I am pretty interested to see what it actually is.
-NEW INTERVIEW DROPPING NEXT WEEK: One of my favorite wrestling fans will be stopping by next week to talk about all the things in wrestling right now.. Jordan will be sitting down with me to talk about predictions, what is wrong with wrestling, storylines, and MORE… so stayed tuned. This is.. is going to get wild.

NEXT week we are getting Howdy vs Solo it seems… but Howdy is wanting Solo ALONE. Will he? Most likely, no..
I have seen SO many fans wanting the end of MFT and Wyatts.. but I don’t think that is such a good idea. Of course we are wanting Howdy/Wyatts at Mania, and with 6 weeks left.. I don’t see another feud getting to that point of urgency for a match of such. I have a feeling we will be getting a couple of smaller matches, that result in no contest or a cheater ending. This would result in a final show down at Mania. I can understand everyone wanting a change and tired of the same ole thing.. but good stories TAKE TIME. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and everyone’s feeling is completely valid when it comes to wrestling stories/wrestlers.. that is all the fun in it. In the end, I have a feeling that this will start the feud we wanted to begin with. Next week should be good, and I am keeping a good attitude with it.. seeing that there has already been some very trying times within the story already.
