It’s Elimination Chamber week, and it’s going to be a good one (I hope). We’ve got ALOT to talk about, so let’s get right into it.
Kicking off: Gunther Promo/ AND MORE
I didn’t mind this overall.. but it did make me wonder where in the world this whole thing with Gunther is going. Who will be his next opponent, and will they retire? OR.. are we going with just a regular match here? Also.. I am loving the feud that Gunther has with Adam.. it’s just so good.
Elimination Chamber Qualifier: Jey Uso vs. Original El Grande Americano vs. Bronson Reed
We did see Cody Rhodes come to the ring but was interrupted by The Vision.. which led to Jey coming out as well for the start of the EC match. The match itself was okay, other than the fact that The Vision is cursed. 100% you can’t tell me otherwise. It wasn’t hard to figure out that Bronson was suppose to win this match.. but sadly he is injured and out of action for AT LEAST 4-6 months. This sucks, because I was really looking forward to seeing him in the EC this Saturday. Because of this.. Jey Uso did pick up the win. This also.. does make things interesting going into EC too.
Liv Morgan (PICKS her Mania choice)
This was pretty good overall. I loved the emotion and the “toying” with boy Jade and Stephanie. HOWEVER.. we knew she was going to pick Stephanie.. I just think it will end different than most think. I fully believe that Dom or Raquel will cost Liv at Mania. The story would make so much sense.. (see below at Raquel’s EC match) and this would lead Liv to win the Money in the Bank later in the year. What do YOU think?
Maxxine Dupri vs. Nattie
Not happy. I love this story with Nattie and Maxxine.. but the delivery just isn’t it for me. I WANT it to be so good, and I know they are probably going for a Mania match as well.. I just feel it could have been done a little later to delay the speculation and wait.
Brock Lesnar Returns
Not a huge fan of Brock.. but for content purposes.. : This was very interesting overall. Wrestlemania open challenge? Who are we thinking here? Gunther (or could they be waiting for Summer Slam?) Oba? Royce Keys? It is very interesting that we are also getting Brock multiple weeks in a row leading up to Mania as well. So.. is it all open challenges? Or just Mania?
Je’Von Evans vs. Kofi Kingston
I love Je’Von.. he is amazing.. but it was something about this match that wasn’t it for me. I can’t wait to see what he does in the EC this Saturday, tho!
CM Punk Promo
LOVED this, and this got me wondering.. what is going to happen at the EC this weekend? It’s very apparent that Punk WILL retain his title, but the question is.. what is going to all take place? Will Dom cost him? Especially after the backstage segment with Judgement Day.. interesting.
Elimination Chamber Qualifier: Iyo Sky vs. Kairi Sane vs. Raquel Rodriguez
This was another match that took me for a complete LOOP. I fully expected Iyo to win.. and then we have Rhea and Iyo in the Chamber together.. resulting in a feud. HOWEVER.. it was Raquel that took the win. This SHOOK me.. making me wonder what WILL happen with Liv down the line. I could for sure be seeing this as a story line with a scorned Raquel. ALSO.. she did this by herself with no help. That is something to take into consideration.
AJ Styles Tribute
The tribute itself was wonderful and I loved it. His speech was beautiful and overall.. it almost brought a tear to my eye. The end had me in shambles.. as The Undertaker came out (which I thought was a little extra btw for someone who is retiring) and announced that AJ Styles will be in the Hall of Fame this year. This SHOOK me.. and it is so deserved. I can’t wait to watch!

**Another little opinion here: I very recently spoke about this on Twitter.. and I’ve seen ALOT of people mention it. Bray Wyatt does deserve a Hall of Fame induction.. HOWEVER… there is a time and place. And of course it will be very speical. I feel like Howdy and Wyatt Sicks are still telling a very important story (even if it’s been delayed multiple times), Bray and Bo’s father is still recovering, and it still is so very fresh from his untimely passing.. Bray’s time WILL come, my friends. Have faith.
My little break is still on going.. while I will be posting here and there, they will be cut back a good bit. My mental health has been rough lately, BUT.. I am on my way to being better. I am focusing on being a mother to my sweet boy, and working on school. PLEASE be patient with me. And for those that have come to check in on me, thank you so much. You are appreciated more than you know.
